Passed peacefully on April 25 with family by her side. Maria Victoria Battiston passed away suddenly, her courage and strength was an inspiration to all who knew her, as a loving and caring individual. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband Steve of 19 years. She was a devoted mother to her children Daniel and Michael. A loving daughter to Immocolata and the late Danielo Gasparini and her mother in law Dina and father in law the late Italo Battiston. She will be missed by her loving sisters Lucy, Josie, and Crystal. We would like to thank Aunt Pina for the special care she provided for Maria during her illness.
Friends will be received at the Colaricci Daudlin Tauro Funeral Home, 211 McNaughton Road, East (one block North of Major MacKenzie Drive, East of Keele Street), Maple on Sunday 2 to 4pm and 6 to 9 pm and Monday 2 to 4pm and 6 to 9pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 9:30am from St. David`s Roman Catholic Church, (2601 Major MacKenzie Drive, Maple). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
For those wishing in lieu of flowers donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family
